Started streaming 27 minutes ago The four members of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 mission — NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Takuya Onishi, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov — prepare to head to Earth as the hatches are closed on their spacecraft. Undocking is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 8, at 6:05 p.m. ET (2205 UTC).
During their nearly five months on the space station, Crew-10 contributed to the more than 200 scientific demonstrations and experiments taking place in orbit. These included physiological and psychological studies, material flammability tests for future spacecraft designs, and testing a backup lunar navigation solution.

Would someone be able to summarize how NASA is being affected by this administration and how uncertain its future is? I’m having a hard time explaining to my family how science is essentially being attacked right now. I’m so sorry to all the employees being affected by the govt. also, yall have all my love.

We have a lot of equipment to maintain! here in LosAngelesCounty u/Nasa #jpl theres old work turing out new results all the time! https://www.axiomspace.com/mission-blog/ax4-splashes-down the axiom mission was still built on ranger9! and that crashed but voyager did not! And the hardware is still producing results, radio is forever, at least until it smashes into a rock https://www.nas.nasa.gov/ + https://eyes.nasa.gov/apps/dsn-now/ = alot of work for someone humble enough not to touch anything!
